Who make good turnbuckles that would fit a pan car?   I know there are tons of options I just wondered if anyone tried anything that works well. I am trying to find something with less slack in it than the crappy ball cups that come standard with the car.  They have too much play even when they are new and the car always seems to wander a bit.

Dubro captured ball rod ends work great on pan cars.  I use the standard duty ones on the servo and heavy duty ones on the knuckle.  The HD ends have more articulation, which is required on the knuckle end, while the standard ones are lower profile.  Zero slop and they last forever.  If you are using 200mm track width, you will probably need shorter turnbuckles, or trim the rod ends some as they are longer than standard cups.

Shaver shop sells them - 4-40 rod ends, the black ones, not the white airplane stuff.

Second best are Traxxas small rod ends, although the plastic is quite soft and they get some small slop after a buit of use.  Still much better than standard ball studs and cups.

Third are RPM ball cups, which are OK in a pinch.

Awesome! Thanks! Du0Bro came to mind first seeing as they have been around for ever. Just wanted to be sure that stuff was up to racing punishment.  4-40 is great too. Wasnt sure what I needed for a size. I am running 200mm CRC.  Have any idea of turnbuckle lengths?

a little slack is fine my car is 3 years old and still no problems. take a plastic bag and snap it over the ball will also tighten them up.

you can also run an elastic band from the ball on the servo to the ball on the steering hub.  It will take out the slop, and keep your toe.
