Good day!

What servos are being used in the WGT cars? Right now I have a Airtronics 94360 that is big, fast and heavy. I also have a Hitec HS-5245MG that is a spare for my 1/12th car, would it adequate?

Thanks, Neil.

Any 1/12 scale servo is fine

Most people are having to add weight to get the cars up to spec weight. I know yours is a franken-car but if it's not a weight issue I'd keep the bigger servo in there, assuming it's fast...

Yes it wes heavy at 1020 grams. Now with the smaller servo and removing the aluminum protectors I had on it it is down to 947 grams. That is with the stainless steel axel that is about 30 grams heaveyer than a stock axle. So now it is ready to run but once I get a proper axle and lighter WGT spec tires, I could  put the bigger/faster servo back in.
