Roadtrip 2: Emerald City Classic, Seattle WA, Apr 5

Leave: 5PM or 7PM ferry on Friday April 4
Return: Sunday early afternoon ferry
Transport: Blake's van or Daryl's truck
Hotel: Two bedroom suite already booked.  Two beds in their own rooms, couches in living room, $118/night before tax.
Rules: 12th 17.5 Blinky, 12th Mod, WGT 13.5 Blinky, TC 17.5 Blinky, TC Mod, Scale Spec, F1 Rubber
Costs: Ferry ($60/person) + Hotel (above) + Gas (roughly $20/person) + Entry (probably $30 + $15 I would guess) + Food

Note that the race is only Saturday - all day - from 7AM until probably 2AM on Sunday morning.  Also, you'll need a passport or enhanced driver's license for this one.

Hey all,

Just a reminder of this road trip down to Seattle to support the Hangar group and everyone that came up to Victoria this January.  Anyone else thinking about coming along?  Todd runs a top notch event.

The hotel is $118/night before tax, but it's a suite with tons of space, two beds, and two couches.  Could easily sleep 5 people to keep it on the cheap for everyone.  Also, race entry is quite low.

PS.  Let's hope Daryl's truck doesn't format its hard drive on the way home....

Which ferry are you guys taking? the 5Pm or 7Pm?

Moved it up to the 3PM, Shawn. But if you want to come and can make it for the 5PM, I would reconsider leaving earlier. I just wanted to get down there before 10 at night.

I too would be fine waiting for the 5PM if it meant a 4th racer could join us.

Won't work..... I am doing a 25km ruck march on Friday.. I would only be able to make the 7pm. (I would be smelling kinda "ripe", and wearing a relish uniform..  )  Next time.
