Some people from nanaimo expressed interest in having a go at touring stock if we could get enough cars out. At this point i can count 4 that will probably show up, so if anyone else wants to run a second class or get some practice for summer, bring out the cars so we can run a heat.

Blake

I'd run a heat or two if there is time in the schedule.

Richard will be back for some more photos this Saturday, so it would be cool to get some TC shots to go along with all the 12th photos he got last week.

Well I have been working in mine since I got home today and it is not neer the setup I want but it will be runable and I will bring it.

I will be there for both tc and 1/12. Hope mike will make it down also

Well I have repaired mine and I have used a different setup. I found out I was mesuring the droop wrong ( old T1 way), makes a huge 2 to 3 mm differance. I hope to get a bit of track time between rounds to see how it works.

Unfortunately i broke mine so i wont have a tc out this week. replacements should be here for the next race after emerald city.

Downstops can be tricky to measure depending on the type of a arms your car has and how you measure. the most consistant way is the over ride height way but i always compare that to a downstop gauge to make sure both sides are the same.
make sure you tweak your car before trying the orh method.
2-3mm over ride height seems to work pretty well for carpet.

My wording is bad. The problem I had is where I mesured from. The T1FK04 was mesured from the center of the C-hub or bearing carryer but the T4 2013 is mesured from the front of the front arm  and the back of the arm on the rear. I take off my tires and rest the chasses on a flat serface and use my ride hight gauge to mesure.
