Friendly points battles between friends

Hey all,


I had a couple of people ask me on Saturday about their points standing.  There is some confusion between the points standings that are posted to this website at the bottom of each race writeup, and the points standings that are shown on those pieces of paper that Tom uses to arrange the heats each night.

The official points are the ones shown at the bottom of the race writeups.  These are the points you want to look at to see where you stand compared to your friends.  Remember, you get one throw-away race for every five race nights.  This means you'll have five throw-away races over the course of the entire season.

The pieces of paper that Tom uses to arrange the heats each night are the previous week's results, and the median points listing.  These papers are used ONLY to seed everyone into the qualifiers each night.  They do not represent your official points standing in any way.
