Check out the thread called 'off-road track' in the off road section. Talk to Limey (Dave) . If there is enough serious interest something will get done.

As I don't off-road, I don't know details, but the industrial section that the Galloping Goose passes through between Johnson and Bay Bridges seems to have some possiblilities for bashing, especially on weekends.

I don't race offroad either but there is a fairly large piece of land near Feltham road (in gordon head.) This piece of land is kind of like no one owns it, it seems because there were a bunch of mountain bikers that didnot own it and were there. The mountain bikers have made some sweet jumps allready and can be formed into a track. There are pretty few mountain bikers that go there 3-4 people. Never know this might become an offroad track... :wink:

I went to the lot and saw a guy there, he said that he had bought the land one year ago when it was up for grabs. This man now owns the lot and it is not for sale he said. This land is no longer an option unless you can strike up a deal with him (which I highly doubt)

there is a old motor cross track close to my house. Its on the corner of
Lohnbrunner Road E and lochside dr. It is on galey brothers farm land but I have been on it a couple of times with no problem. The jumps on the other have are a problem. There BIG. The bmx track is nothing compered to this track last time I was there but that was 1 year ago.

You guys can forget the old bmx track I told you about. I just when't there and its grown over in the last 1.5 years.

It looks like no one is using it. It was fun as hell though when it was not grown over.

If there was anyone with any motivation they would get the old BMX track as an offroad track. It will require someone to make a good presentation but I can't think of a better place for a track and its mostly built already. It would be a shame to see an opportunity like that pass by.

hey ryan it's just on the othe side of the road from were we race during the fun summer months. It's right beside the velodrome( been up to long I think I can't spell)

That track is in pretty good shape if I am not correct. I was thinking there was some other bmx track in Vic west/View Royal. Heard about it but never confirmed its existance!!!!!
