While I appreciate the effort it takes to do this, Protroform hasn't been the cheapest deal for IROCC because they can't undercut the retail and distribution prices. Comp RC was selling 1/12 for $11.23 (we paid $16.50+ through protoform earlier this year didn't we?) but I see that they just stopped carrying them (BTW - they are based in Vancouver). You can also get the Mazda 6 for $17.00 with a little digging around. I landed a Sophia GT a month back for $22 and I had only bought two! Just something to consider.

Yes John, as posted under the For Sale thread, the club has 19-235mm Peugeot medium downforce bodies that were purchased last year. 10 lightweight and 9 regular weight.

I know its not a purchase, but I have some new High Down Force bodies I would like to trade for medium down force bodies. :D  Let me know if we can work something out!

Shawn.

What was the final verdict on what style of body we will be running this coming outdoor season?

Danny in pro 10 the body is open to the driver  I have used a lot of different one's but Daryl has about 20 bodies in stock that have good down force and all most all the club members use.

Yes, Gord is correct.  Danny, I would probably recommend one of the High Downforce bodies that the club/Daryl has in stock.  Pro10 can be a handful, and the high downforce body will help to keep your car on the ground.

Danny

ok, ill pick one of those bodies up soon enough.

Hey, Guys.

There is a German vendor on eBay selling the Carson Group C. Shipping will be killer. likely $100 so to land the bodies you'd be looking at $40 or so assuming you purchased 10 or more. There enough guys that you can do it. I know a guy there who says we could have them shipped to him and he could ship to us at the lowest possible rate if the eBay vendor price seems prohibitive.

It's all yours: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400097457052&thin=0#ht_4507wt_1167

I have found some of the 200mm Response GT1 bodies(possibly). These are the ones that Phil was trying to track down in Germany. RCmart is out of stock, but I have an e-mail into a Shop in Japan to see how much and availability. Hopefully they will get back to me ASAP and hopefully they speak English. Also one place in the states but they want $30 plus shipping.

RC51

Hey, Daj.

$30 plus shipping will be better that what can be pulled in from JAPAN. Volumetric shipping is horrible and it works out to close to $40 when you land them. I ordered some F1 bodies a while back and it would have been cheaper and shorter to go US.

I need a count on the number of 200mm bodies that are needed. I have had a response from a supplier in the US, but they currently only have 8 in stock. I am trying to get this organized ASAP, so please let me know quickly so I can get back to them. Price will be $30US plus shipping unless I can talk them down a bit.
I am in for 2.
Next?

dajracer

Sorry guys, it was not the body that Phil tracked down in Germany.
Here is the link again to RCMart-

Yes or no, before I go any further????

Blake

Good looking body, I will take 2.  If there are only 8 available, I can reduce to just 1 if it helps others get one.

Thanks,
Blake

WhoDoYouThink

I'll take 2. Or if you get lots of interest, 1 will do me for now. Thanks
