Tires for next season

What do you guys think about everyone using the same tire starting next season.
the Choice would be

CRC World GT Rear Spec
Jaco World GT Spec

There are other brands of WGT spec as well! Same compound, different manufacturers.

NO.... not all tires hook up the same on different cars. my normal tire selection changed over the weekend and i
had to try 4 different selections till i found the right one.

But what if we go to WGT format? just something I remember hearing

We've begun VERY preliminary discussions with other clubs regarding a potential series and this may or may not affect rules for next season.

Personally I agree with Gerry in that a link car is set up very differently than a t-bar car and unless we're prepared to make the class completely spec we can't just pick one element like tires to mandate.

I would like to see the class expand.  If we stick a new set of rules to it, I guess it could work either way.  I'm not very good with politics.
