I agree as well, however given the turnout late in the indoor season, there's no point.

Whatever we do, we can't keep everyone happy! I agree with Tom however, running an extra 3 weeks of indoor is a waste of time and energy due to the fact that the 'Diehards' are only doing it for themselves. In my opinion, people who didn't or couldn't show up for whatever reason during indoor racing season shouldn't be suggesting what the rest of us who did show on a regular basis should or shouldn't do!

The TC race was definately alot of fun. Gord and I had quite a race going on for 4/5th for probably 2-3 minutes, and I believe there was also a good 2nd/3rd battle going on as well.  I definately didnt have the right motor/timing/FDR combination. Will have to work on that.   Curious to know what everyone elses FDR/Timing setup was for their cars.

Yep, it was a cold one out there; especially while running a fever.  I hope no one got too close to me!

Colwood seemed to get the worst of the weather.  I headed back to town and Gorden Head and it was nice and sunny.

As others have said, it's always a crap shoot at this time of year, but it's better than throwing away our rent money to B&G for 10-car turnouts in April... been there done that.

Like Gerry said, I saw lots of smiles during the first round: especially from Joey after he completed his first ever IROCC qualifier!  All six racers in that race finished that race, and we had a good cheering section in pit lane cheering on Joey, Mark, and Cameron!  The second group of TC had good racing too, and I felt really bad poking fun at Gord during the race for his ultra-fast car.  Turns out he was legal!

The Nitro race was looking really good between Craig and Gerry for the first three minutes or so, and then sadly their pace dropped big time!

It's too bad we couldn't get the WGT heats in since a few people were trying different gearing combos to find the setup.

After 3x boxes of Kleenex, a fair bit of Nyquil, and crazy amounts of snot, I think I am back in action.  Hopefully the weather gives us a break this Sunday.  See ya there!

IROCC Rent-a-Ride

Hi all,

IROCC has purchased an RTR TC4 kit that will be available for newcomers to try their hand at racing.  I have the car and I will bring it out this Sunday.  If you know anyone that might be interested in joining our club, you can suggest that they come try the club Rent-a-Ride for a couple of heats.  The cost will be the usual: $5.  Depending on interest, you might only get a race or two on the Rent-a-Ride, but on a slow day, you might get the whole raceday.

I had LOADS OF FUN. It was really fun just to be out with Nice People that love racing and are having fun. Rain or no rain. It was a BLAST!

Just my opinion, Joey  :D
