welcome to AL Ain....why I cannot race iRacing online, no longer watch any video online and barely talk on skype. Interestingly I have downloaded of a terabyte worth of torrents since being here but my Utorrent client has been running for 1.5 years straight, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. LOL

PS, for the above "service" I pay almost 100.00 bucks a month. Never bitch about Shaw!! A few locations in my city are better, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have connections similar to the average Shaw connection.

Ping = 31ms

Provider = Shaw 'High Speed' IE :nothing special!

Its wireless at home on Telus, my computer is way to old but here is what I got..

Download........42 ms
upload............7.60 mbps
Ping................1.02 mbps

I was expecting way worse....lol....

Standard Shaw High Speed. 3Pm! at night I am in the 24-25mbps download range .

All depends on what you are paying for Inet! Gords forking over twice the $$$ I am for my Inet. So its all perspective.. Besides, my first modem was 300 baud.

Shawn is right my internet cost more... but I used the new personal plan option that Shaw now offers and I got rid of stuff on my TV that I don't watch and upgrade my internet all for $5.00 less then I was paying before. if we did not have students here using our internet I would have stayed with the 20meg download speed.
