Starting to wire up my 10.5 car and I got it all together and was trying it out I went to move the booster and it was super hot. I can't remember them getting so hot or do they? It seems to work,  the servo is working fine it seems but I practically burned my thumb moving it. Has anyone noticed if they get warm or hot if this means it's on it's way out. It's one of the style we got last year.

Thanks

The booster has to be wired backwards that's the way they work best.

Newbie. Try running it at a higher boost and make sure the boost entana is in the right spot.

not to thread-jack, but i wired mine to the pos battery post and whenever ive asked, i was told to take the esc red wire out. doesn't work that way.. works if i leave the esc tail alone and just run the booster + to the rx.
so, did i do that right? or is it going to kill something slowly.? also, do you guys install switches on your boosters? car comes on with battery hook up. esc power switch does nothing.

On a Non Tekin yes take the red wire out

Sorry to thread jack it back to my topic but ???..... It is one of the old style with the two wires that go to the esc. And lol being a newbie and all I was thinking I may just try my other one that is one wire to see if it works better. I don't remember them getting that hot either ever. Haha gotnitro I did try that wiring it backwards and it blew up in my face so thanks you will be getting my hospital bill in the mail. Oh ya if you could spell antenna properly I may have tried that too I didn't know what the heck you were talking about. Lol

for a non tekin I understand that the red esc wire must be remove from the receiver plug in order for the booster to work right

just remove it the put some heat shrink on it.
