Queen Alexandra Children's Hospital Club Race - Sept 15, 2013

Hi all,

IROCC has a special club race on Sunday September 15th at the Queen Alexandra Children's Hospital near UVic. There is a full-size car show held on the grass, and we get to setup our R/C track in the parking lot. We've done this event for the last few years and it's a lot of fun with a TON of spectators. All our race fees go directly to the hospital and IROCC will be making an additional donation as well.

We will run two Qualifiers and then the Mains. Classes are our usual club classes: TC-Stock, TC-Nitro, WorldGT, and 18R/Mini.

sorry but since I'm now working on Saturdays I will not be able to help with the track work that gets done on the Saturday

We'll have to confirm with Craig, but we normally setup on the Saturday afternoon. There is no racing on Saturday - just setup. Racing will start early on Sunday morning.

I have heard it advertised on the Q and they do mention "Remote control car racing".

Cameron and I wont be there. Actually, looks like I am done for the summer. Wont be back till November to race (hopefully).

Mmmm, jealous, but QA will kick almost as much a$$ as that.

SETUP ON SATURDAY, SEPT 14th

Please meet at QA at 11:30AM on Saturday to help us clean the parking lot and setup the track.

Ill try to make setup on saturday but with kid in tow. Apparently something happening on saturday lady wants to go to.

We'll likely start the first round of qualifying at 10AM. Please be at the track before 9:30AM to register.

I did not see anything on RCtech is it posted there or is it just going to be our club?
