Tony Stewart question

If anyone has seen the you tube accident were tony hits a driver not in his car. Is he at fault for this ? As the guy who was hit was on the race track and not in his car

I would say the guy out of the car is at fault. The guy was wearing a black suit at Knight tony may have seen him last minute and hit the throttle to try to avoid him. It looked to me that the guy was trying to get his attention and trying to stop him ?

I have watched the video a couple of times, and tony is sliding his car around the corner. Then just before he hits the guy you could see the cars rear drop. I just don't think tony saw him until it was to late and the cars rear dropping was tony getting completely off throttle and trying to avoid him.  The car before tony almost got the guy too, and tony looked to be about a half a car width higher on the track.

Shame, but Darwin wins again.

It is a very sad state for a race to go that way. I know no one hopes for this to happen.  But we also know that tempers can get hot and we have seen other races where helmets are thrown along with punches. From the video seems the other driver was almost right on the race line to get his point across. Some of the footage earlier in that video he seemed to have needed to step back from other cars coming before Tonys car rolled up. I think it's just an unfortunate accident. I presume Tony is crushed in killing a fellow racer.

There's no way tony saw him. Black suit at night on a dirt track, and on the right side of the car which is a huge blind spot with the wing sideboard hanging down there.sucks that it happened but it's the kids fault. Everybody I know Learned not to run into traffic at like 4 years old.

I belt if it was any local driver rather than tony, probably wouldn't have even herd about it.

I know it sucks.. But watch this video.. Its been zoomed in a "lightened"..  You can actualy see Ward jump onto the side of tony's car. (that's what I thought was tony getting off throttle and steering to avoid), was actually Ward jumping onto the side of tony's car, and hanging onto the wing causing the chassis to lean... ..
