Man If I only could remember.  I though I saw some where that sold trailer pretty cheap.

We might be able to find a cheaper on on the mainland.  Willing to go over and get it.

I will start a search, on the mainland.  Andrew

Good trailer hunting boyz! :-D

How much did we pay for our current trailer. How much would we sell it to a club member for?

I am thinking I will need a trailer for my next RC plane!

   SOOKE COMMUNITY HALL $100.00 inc tax per week
SUNDAY ALL DAY
Checking calling me back tomorrow on:  SATURDAY DAY OR EVENING
Checking calling me back tomorrow on:  FREE STORAGE
Basketball Sized Gym with 8' on each side
A few Special Functions booked one in November for a Craft Fair on the Sunday so would not be available to us.

Calling me back hopefully tomorrow on Storage and if avail on Saturday as well so we will have a choice.

As far as Sooke goes I think this is the best bet, bigger then:
Sooke Legion Upstairs & Sooke Seniors Centre and at same price range and other places did not have storage.  I know alot of people probably don't like the idea of Sooke but ..... look at the price!

You're planning on pulling it with your Rabbit?  You'd probably be better off putting a hitch on your bike.

I think we got it off an ex-R/C racer for over a K, and I believe Daryl has a potential buyer lined up.  I don't want to make the price all that public, since I could be wrong, and it's not necessarialy in the best interests of the club to make that sort of thing public.

10-4 on keeping it on the down-low, a ballpark was all I wanted. How about this, how much would a similarly sized used trailer be worth, 1-2 K?

You are not trash talking the Rabbit are you? No-one beats me off the line in that thing, no-one. By the 25 foot mark pretty much anyone can beat me but off the line the rabbit is undefeated! I have to run the odd red-light to get the holeshot but the rabbit rocks dude! And it looks good,...doesnt it?

Probably (maybe a bit more), yep, yah right, and sure, if you say so dude!

haddow

Do you think Amanda's Dodge Intrepid 2.2 Litre V6 can handle a similar trailer with a couple of hundered pounds of cargo?

PS. Thomas I hope I see you in the Ford  sometime soon at a stop light cuz yer done dude!

No.

The car might be able to physically haul it, but a car like that should only be used with a light-duty utility trailer, not a heavy-duty box trailer, even though you are planning on packing not much more than air.

That's just my opinion, of course.

I'd be willing to bet that trailer weighs around 700 lbs empty, you're talking about wanting to haul around half a ton on the back of a car (not all tongue weight of course).

I'm hardly an expert when it comes to these things, but It's probably not a very good idea.  Of course that will give you all the more reason to want to try. . .

haddow

yep, its too much trailer for me. I would like an enclosed unit that weights half that. Or buy a damn truck and piss the gas money away. The rabbit is old and ugly but it sure saves me alot of money.

I bet your Rabbit could pull the trailer no problem, it's the stopping part that might become interesting!

WhoDoYouThink

Dude, if you're wanting a trailer for a large scale aircraft, why not just build a box to fit the top of your Rabbit!
It could be all nice and aerodynamic like....

Then your VW would really fly, and not just off the line! LOL

Nick, great idea. Looks like I'm keeping gold old "Funky Gold Medina" the rabbit
