Swap Meet?

Do you think it would be a good idea to hold a swap meet some afternoon or evening? People could bring only those items they are looking to sell? Thoughts?

That sounds like a great idea to me as well.  However, to make it even more succesfull, how about trying to contact other R/C and hobby related groups, like plane guys and boat guys; I'm sure there's lots of common interests between the various groups, and cross-polination is probably a good thing.

Excellent! Where do you think that we would have such an event? A Community Centre somewhere? or wait until we can do this out doors? Ideas?

That would be cool.  There is already a flee market but its on Sundays at Western Speedway so if we were already into the Summer season that would be a bit of a conflict.

Its too bad the airplane guys aren't all that organized - it would be nice to have them out as well.
