Extend Winter Race Schedule?

Hi all,


We are considering extending our winter race schedule by 2-3 races.  The schedule would look like this:

Mar 29 - Carpet Club Race
Apr  5 - NO RACING - Hangar 30's Emerald City Classic Trophy Race, Seattle WA, Apr 5
Apr 12 - Carpet Club Race
Apr 19 - Carpet Club Race (also Easter Long Weekend)
Apr 26 - Carpet Club Race
May 3 - NO RACING
May 10 - NO RACING - Mothers Day
May 17 - NO RACING - Victoria Day Long Weekend
May 24 - Start of summer racing


How does this look for everyone?

Hey Nick,

We are approved to use the B&G for these extra dates if needed.  But, if John can get us into the Langford Legion, we may "test" that location.

Hey all,

Thanks for the feedback guys.  We had good feedback at the track on Saturday as well.  My feeling is that we'll have sufficient numbers for the April 12th and April 26th dates, but I'd like to hear how many can make the April 19th date since it's in the middle of Easter.

I am not sure if I could make Easter W/E or the W/E after. That is around when Barb is scheduled for surgery.

If we're still at B&G then I'm talking Easter Saturday Night.  If we're able to test the Legion, which would be on Sundays, then we will definitely NOT race on Easter Sunday.

Ill race whenever. Holidays are always a surprise for me lol. Just a day I get paid not to work.

extended season mean I might be able to race lol.   just curious are you guy thinking on the langford legion. that place would be way smaller then the B&G.   I've played in a few dart tourney's there with the boss, I mean the wife.  Low roof and  much smaller area.  Just me two cent.

Hey Andrew,

Yeah, I *think* it's the Langford Legion that we're talking about.  John B is has a connection there as I believe he runs the canteen there sometimes.  He seemed to indicate that it would be large enough, plus there is storage under the stage.  The biggest difference is that we'd have to run on Sundays instead of Saturday nights.  Obviously we'll only make a change like this if it's in the best interest of the club and its racers.

That's all I know so far.

Yes, Andrew, it is Langford Legion but it is in there reception hall not the main bar area where you would have played darts. We looked at it once before, years ago, but want to have another look.

actually we play in the hall,  never been to the bar side. The venue is not perfectly square .  I mean if work for the club and more convenient why not.
