I've never run the exotic compounds before myself, since in my opinion they're too pricy.  I've just run Yokomo or Paragon tires.  However, since I've been unable to buy new foam for many years now, I'll likely have to bite the bullet ....

No - not the Bullet!  You love that car!

Tower Hobbies has Jaco donuts Green for $7.69 and Purple for $12.99

Hobby Wholesale in Edmonton has Jaco mounted front/rear grey/purples for $16.50 a pair.  No PST and shipping is usually about $5

Yah, but what about donuts?  And what about traditional compounds, like yellow, green, blue and orange?  And what about Yokes and Paragons?

The Shaver Shop used to carry all these options.

I rose the topic of Jaco tires because JQ asked me if the club would use them because we are tracking down options for the upcoming season.

how many people use donuts?

other compounds blue, yellow etc?

How many people will use different compounds will depend on price.

If you could get yellow and green tires in for half the price of purples and grays, I'd think you would sell lots of the yellows and greens.  Even at 2/3rds of the price, I would strongly urge many club members who have a tendancy to chunk tires to use those.

Personally, I'd buy just the donuts so I can use my old wheels, and people who have been running for some time would likey also just get the donuts and re-use old wheels, if the wheels in the pre-mounted sets cost more than a few cents over just the donuts.

a few of the new wheels I have seen are no longer made of plastic that is resistant to the harsh chemicals required to free the old donut off the rim.

IE CRC wheels can not be reused, shame too as they are strong enough to last the rubber life but they melt when they see lacquer thinner.

Jody - Can we buy some CRC's bulk from CRC?

Blake -  Or maybe Korgie can get us Jaco's with pricing like he gets the Nitro Shoes for us?

Hey Guys

I will NOT be selling/ordering CRC stuff (other than used equipment). The BC Shaver Shop can get the parts you need. Get the CRC part numbers off the CRC website before you go to the shaver shop. The CRC stuff has been reasonably priced downtown in the past.

If you want if before racing starts, order soon!!!!!!

If everyone posted here what they want we could put in one large order to simplify things.
