Protoform VRS-N

Is anyone running this new body? Apparently nitro bodies are starting to go the same way the GTP bodies did.. UGLY! I thought the industry was supposed to be going more Scale, and not just pure performance... Guess PF didn't get the memo.

This body will only be the beginning, it fits the global body spec, but there needs to be a balance of down force and scale. If the balance is lost, then the scale factor will never return. Did I forget to mention its ugly.

Avery, watch out with what you are looking at. If you break something, you want a car that you can get parts for quite readily or else you could be sitting on the sidelines waiting for parts. If you are looking at getting a new electric car, then you should consider something like the rental car we are using, I know it is a little more expensive but the parts are of a higher quality. And you could probably transfer some of the electronics from your Traxxas which would decrease the cost quite a bit. Talk to Blake, next time you are out, he has just ordered in another couple of the kits.

should probably stop thread jacking poor shawn a little bit lol.
if your really set on getting nitro though, definitely consider glenns. or talk jarrod down to glenns price, so glenn will still come out and race it
its absolutely required that your radio has a good failsafe function though. nitro cars are no joke and when they go runaway, thats a 2kg missle that can seriously hurt someone or property.
I strongly suggest electric first.
as for the body.. another option... nicer looking than the srs-n but if the properties are positive, it could look like a mac truck for all i care lol. Hope we get a Mazda 6 GX-N variant.
