RE-Building My New Ride

I'm going to give 1/8 Scale off road nitro a try this season on our off days
I bought a 2nd New Xray XB808 2011 from RCtech

Yii, sorry to hear about that.  At least it was an old/tired motor that took the hit, and not a new one!

Out of curiosity, did the big car stop?

Hate to say it, the crunch as the car went over it sounded pretty good.
I guess it was just the wrong type of 'grass' to drive over.

the rear of the car took the worst hit

rear shock tower


rear drive shaft


front camber link





fuel inlet




chassis by motor mounts


 body was ripped as well when motor was ejected from the car

I was happy that it was only my car that is damaged as it could have been a lot worse if that car got into a accident with another car over this.

I didn't even think about that until you just mentioned it.  Very good call - can you imagine if it caused a real crash and Juan de Fuca found out it was us?  We'd be ejected quicker than you can blink.  Let's keep the cars within the track walls!
