I believe Shane would be down for one or two as well, Daj, but you may want to check with him.

I don't know if the club will be able to get rid of them, it looks like everybody that can is switching back to 200mm bodies. Maybe I will advertise them on RC Tech.

RC51

Well ... at least developing a contingency anyway, Daj. I'll be sticking w/235 for this season but it's always nice to have a few options!

Ciao.

I know that some of you are still running 235mm, but those who can switch their cars back to 200mm seem to want to. Either way, we will have bodies for both. I still have 19-235mm and will be bringing in 20-200mm bodies.

Hey, Daj.

If you have not already ordered, can you ask the vendor if they fit on today's standard 200mm cars? Looking at the front end, and apparently Mick has a different image to examine, it looks as if it would be tight at best in clearing the arms, castor blocks or in particular, a front suspension brace. Not trying to be a piss ant, just curious if these will actually fit the front end.

Apparently the body was designed to fit the Tamiya F1 type of front suspension. I have one of those cars so I will take it out and have a look, but in some respects it is apples and oranges simply because of the way the cars are laid out. Wheel wells will not be an issue, but the body drops quickly and quite low once it clears the wheel. I will see what a P905 looks like on the Tamiya and see if that gives any insight at all.

Thoughts?

Yeah, sorry guys, I meant to post these images a while back. I ran across them purely by accident recently from someone selling a "pre-painted" (butt-ugly) body a few years back on RCTech so I managed to pull them down and reupload them:

They do, however, show the shape of the body in question. I am curious as to whether the area between the front fenders is high enough to clear the suspension.

Thoughts?

I have ordered the bodies but they are not in stock(at least not the number we are looking for), so supplier is waiting for a new run this month. I have not paid for anything yet, payment is not due until supplier has the bodies. I will e-mail him and see if he can answer these questions.
