Well, even though I am not racing this weekend, I just couldnt let the kit sit on my workbench stairing me down. So, I started late last night.

I am at the point, of putting together the front end of the car.  Have my 200mm GT body mostly painted too.
Stuck a TrakPower in for the heck of it, and test fitted my GTB. Not alot of room on this chassis.  I am almost surprise the trakpower isnt used as a stressed member. The car resembles a motorized battery.

All I have left to do is the body and mount the Electrics

I went too craigs and we tried to counter sink the rest of the hole but no luck, so now I have a different chassi. I have a new one now and it's ready for assembly. Here goes.

Hey Matt, you asked me to order one of these car for you, sounds like you changed your mind?

Shawn68z

Anyone have an issues with the Left Rear hub?  I have had two problems with the hub. #1. One of the holes wasnt tapped all the way thru. I recked acouple of aluminum screws before I realized what the heck was going on.

Second, my GRP wheels dont fit it properly. They fit the right hub properly, but on the left rear the center is to large on the hub, AND the screw holes are to far out to align properly. They are real close, but off by about .005, just enough to cause an issue.

Shawn.

Gorden

My GRP wheels were a tight fit on the left as well but it went on ok.
