Finished!  My heavy springs for the front, and motor showed up today.  I'll take it down to the parking garage tonight, but it goes around the condo OK too.

I put a Novak Ballistic 4.5T in it for giggles - the most heinous motor I've ever experienced.  Geared 13/90.

Looking forward to practice in January, although it's probably sprung way too soft for carpet.

Yeah, very cool setup Ross.  You'll definitely have to bring it out for some test carpet runs in January.  Maybe take out the 4.5BL though....

I'm looking forward to another fun summer of GTP/10.5BL pan car action.

So I take it no rule changes for this coming year?  (WGT Specifically)

Merry Christmas all........ If we change to WGT that would suck for me as I would have to get  new car cause my chassis is 235 solid lol...no adjustment at all, its old school. But am I the only one with a 235mm chassis that cant be adjusted? Also driving a 235 on carpet makes the track always look small..lol..

NO Change at this time is what was decided for this Summer.

Trip report - ran a pack through it.

Took it to the in-laws qul de sac, which has a pretty good straight leading up to it, but it turned out to be too bumpy.  Got into full throttle a couple of times but that's about it.  Bumps threw it into a curb and it got about 4 feet of air.  No problems with durability of the new parts, but my pretty body has scars now.  Punch level 1 and -50 on the throttle expo make it fairly driveable.

The only area big and smooth enough I could think of was the parking lot at the base, and even that was a little on the small side.  The car had to be getting pretty damn near 60mph, if not more.  Once it gets to a certain speed, it's kind of wild how the body takes over and the car really settles down.

Did some fairly high speed maneuvering and once the tires scrubbed in a bit, it stuck reasonably well even on the unprepared surface.  Pretty controllable.  Looking forward to a blast around the carpet, where I will no doubt not even approach half throttle.  Very happy with it.
