Good day!

What rollout is going to be used as a starting point for WGT boosted 13.5?

Thanks, Neil.

Around a 65-70mm would be a good start.

I was at around 66 in the warm up laps but went to 70 for the 1st heat...that we did not run

I think Mick also went to around 70 after the practice

I'm bumping up to around 73...

I was rolling out way to high. I had to change the spur gear so the 64p gears I got would work. But I am around the 70 mark now and if some are going up at least now I got the room to do so too. Just keep a temp gun close for the hotter days of summer when they show up, soon, next weekend, tonight lol.

I am going to try 75mm this Sunday.  I ran my car in the warmup at 65mm (from carpet racing) and it peaked out by the 4th parking stall on the straight.  Also, after only four minutes my motor was already up to 135F... and it was cold out.  So, I think my motor spent 90% of the time at max RPM and therefore max timing.  This would have heated things up.

These cars feel VERY light out there, and should be able to pull 75mm I would think.

Incidentally, I tested my car with 51mm tires (from carpet racing) and it was actually somewhat driveable.  Mick's car looks more planted with full height tires, but it does seem that tires of various sizes will work out there.

I'm going to start the day with a roll out of 72.49

I have two 88t 64p spurs and four 96t 64p spurs left

My tires last week on my car was set up for carpet still and it was planted turning on a dime so I think tires set up should be like indoors. As well I can see lots of roll overs once tractoin comes in and tires are to big

Good day!

I left my gearing the same from indoor and put on the full sized tiers that gave me a rollout of about 75. The car seemed to work well all though it was only for 4 or 5 laps of practice.

I was at 74.70 but my car had no kick to it. So I tried blink mode and the 10.5 at 82.17 still no kick to it. Turns out after looking at the car closer my sensor wire had a broken wire on it.

I ran 76.4mm and my motor was finishing the race around 170F.  I took out some of the drag brake and timing on my ESC and got the temps down to about 150F with the same rollout.  My car felt as fast as anyone's on the straight and infield.
