Winter Season Schedule, Poll - Please Respond

Hi all,

This is a poll to get feedback for the upcoming winter season schedule. As you know, we usually race every single Saturday evening from mid-October until the end of March. Last year the turnouts averaged 21 racers from Oct->Christmas. In the new year, after our big race, the average dropped to 16 racers.

Here is the question: Please respond with your preference A, B, or C and your name.

What is your preferred winter race schedule:
A. Race every single Saturday night
B. Race three Saturday nights per month
C. Race two Saturday nights per month

I know you want us to pick a,b or c but, I would like the every Saturday but I have to commit one Saturday a month to something else and I don't now what that Saturday will be.

Ok, well I will put you down for B then since it "sort-of" fits your requirements.

Hey Jarrod. Yes, we might do something in that vein. There were a couple of nights in Feb/Mar were we didn't cover our rent.

However, the whole idea here is that, if 75% of the club votes for a reduced schedule, and we execute that plan, then hopefully we'll see stronger turnouts for the entire winter.

Option C would be me most of the time though i might be able to come out three weekends on occasion.

I vote for A but it realy dosn't matter to me as long as we can make it work. If we run WGT will we be using 6' or 7' lanes?

Hi Neil,

Not too sure. I was thinking 7' lanes, because then we get a different type of track for the 12th Scale cars too. Just mixes it up a bit.

Thanks Don. I almost added the two nights, one off scheme as D, but it's really close to B when you do the math so I kept it simple.
