That was a lot of fun. Entertaining from start to finish.

Yeah, that was a blast.  It's been a while since I've had a horsepower advantage; it was fun!  Gerry, you really were the Iceman while I was running behind you.  No mistakes... nice work.  I wasn't even really any faster than you, but it's so much easier to follow than lead.

My car has so much power that I didn't realize that it was stuck in 2nd gear for the first couple of races.  It pulled hard even without 1st gear.  I finally cranked down on the 2-speed clutch springs, and voila, 1st gear.  In the main, it seemed like I had a little more on the top end than Gerry and Craig, but pretty similar on the bottom end.  It was too bad that Tom's car flamed out after his 2nd pit stop.

A few people asked me about my new motor.  It is a "Novarossi Keep On .12", and I bought it from Murnan Modified Motors (http://www.murnanmodified.com/).  Murnan is an engine expert and he makes small modifications to extract more power from the motors.  If you find his thread on RCTech you will see that he has had a lot of satisfied customers over many years.  It was actually Mario/Eddie that referred me to Murnan.  Anyway, it's not a cheap way to go, but the product and service seems very good to me.  I hope I can run this motor for another four years!

Sorry guys but couldn't help it . Can't wait to see the new engine  at speed weekend and then especially at Timezone . Saw the thread for the price of gas . You guys are spoiled . A deal for diesel in the Vancouver is 1.36

Tom

Yes, Gord does occasionally post gas prices.  It is a little misleading though; you have to wait in a 1/2 hour long lineup to get gas at that price, and he also didn't mention that today it can be had for $139.9/l at most places.

Gorden

I use this find cheep gas

http://gasbuddy.com/

give it a try it works for a few phones as well

I would really like to know how gas stations adjust their prices .

I am going to give the website a try over the weekend .
