Me too!

Both cars are together now, just need to set rollout for Cameron, and EPA for his ESC.....   Not the best ESC install, but it will get him through for the next couple of races... Need to order some thinner wire.

Great racing last night....   I believe there was 24 entries(?), big thanks to the Naniamo crew for coming down..

Interesting to watch the difference between 13.5, and 17.5.. Lap times were very similar but I think the 13.5 will edge out the 17.5 in lap time over the next couple of weeks. More linear power, easier to drive.

The kids did really good too. Mateo was fast, his driving has come along a lot in this last year.   Cameron has started to figure out the 1/12 scale abit. First round was not so good for him, but once he figured out the sweeper he didn't break the car after that.  (In the main, a screw came out of the football, but he finished... )

See everyone next week.

5 heats and mains, 28 entries. 11 racers from Nanaimo.

Blake

Yeah, that was a great race night.  HUGE thanks to these 12 for coming down from Nanaimo: Craig, Drew, Ethan, Jamie, Jay, Jim, Matt, Mike, Nick, Paul, Ray, and Tonia.  They really made the night as there was super close racing in all heats.

Congrats to Nick Pridge for setting TQ!

The 13.5 Blinky was awesome!  In R2 I was racing with Craig, with very similar gear ratios, and our cars were identical for speed/power everywhere on the track.  It was cool.  Also, I didn't feel like it was more "boring" than 17.5 Boost.  It might be 5% slower at the very end of the straight, but the gain in the infield makes up for that.  As Shawn said, it's very smooth and driveable power.

Mateo, Cameron, and Ethan did amazingly well.  Mateo was flying out there - very impressive.  And Joe S (who hadn't raced since last year's big race where he had to leave very early) was right back on track as well.  Great to see.

Looking forward to next weekend already (Nov 2).  Reminder that we are NOT racing on the following weekend (Nov 9th).

Hey all,

We got another order of traction compound in.  I will bring it to the track on Saturday.  Same price as usual.

We now have Jack-the-Gripper in semi-limited quantities, and we have SXT3.0 to backfill.  Jack has been largely unavailable for months.

Hey all,

While tonight is supposed to be 12th Stock, and 12th Mod, it doesn't hurt to bring out your WGT cars.  If we have time (and 5-ish cars), we'll run a heat.
