I raced off-road with the Penticton club, last Sunday. Not a very large turnout because it was their last race of off-road season and they had to tear down the track after the race. As with so may organizations, when work is involved only the dedicated show up. Their track is inside a horse barn, great size for 1/10 but a little tight for 1/8. I ran my stadium truck in the 2WD SC class and ended up 3rd out of 6 trucks, not too bad for only the 3rd time the truck has been raced. Really have to have a light trigger finger to keep truck under control, actually felt good being on dirt for a change and on a track designed for 1/10 scale rather than 1/8 scale. Anthony, Amber and the others were great to talk to and to race with.

Did you get a chance to take any pictures of the track?

Only pics are in my head! Like Anthony said though, it was nice having the indoor track because they would have been rained out a couple of times this past summer. My only criticisms are that the driver's stand was a little low and the straightaway was on the driver's stand side. If the straight had been on the opposite side then the couple of blind spots wouldn't have been a problem with the lower driver's stand. I believe they are going to make the driver's stand higher for their indoor track(permanent track in Anthony's business' shop) so maybe next summer they will have a taller stand for the off-road track as well.
