Hey all,

Roadtrip 1: WCICS Kamloops, Mar 7-9

Leave: 9AM ferry on Friday March 7
Return: 9PM ferry on Sunday March 9
Transport: Blake's van or/and Daryl's truck
Hotel: Three rooms already reserved at Howard Johnson, two mins from track, and 30 seconds from Earls. $77/night before tax. Two beds in each room.
Rules: Exact same WCICS rules as we already used
Costs: Ferry ($60/person) + Hotel (above) + Gas (roughly $30/person) + Entry (probably $35 + $20) + Food

Sounds good Shawn. We *should* be home on Sunday night, so you technically would not need Monday off work. If we miss the 9PM ferry, there is always the 10:45PM to Duke Point.

Hate to say it but only room for 5 in the truck. If there are more, then we will need a second vehicle.

I think Jamie and I are going to try to make it to this race..For me it depends on if I am still working at home. Might be out of town.. Hope to make it..

With my work, i can't take the chance....Being AWOL at my rank is very expensive.

Hey all,

Looks like the track won't open until 3PM - 4PM ish on Friday for practice. So, we can get away with the 9AM boat I would think, and then grab a late BP lunch when arriving in Kamloops.

This is the lineup so far. Possibly looking at two vehicles....

Looks like you guys have an odd number for rooms... let me know if someone is looking to split a room. I may not make it till Saturday Morning... Let me know... Friday is still a possibility but not till after 5pm leaving Vancouver for me.

Hey Ryan,

Josh is looking for a room mate too. I told him that we'd find some floorspace for him in our rooms if he's desperate. But... if you are coming for both nights, maybe you could room with him? I can try to add an extra room at our hotel (Howard Johnson near the track) if you want.
