Hi all,

We need everyone to show up at Matrix this Tuesday night (Aug 18) at 6:30PM.  We are trying to widen our track for a higher-end feel, and we need people to help roll some carpet in a interesting new way.  Total time will be less than an hour.

Please come out on Tuesday night and lend a hand.  Bring a friend if you have one.  We need roughly 25 people to help with this.

Thanks and see you there,
Blake

Cool, thanks J-Rod.

To all:  Feel free to bring a friend along.  We need a lot of hands for a short period of time.

I don't think I need a resume anymore. I'll try and be there but can't guarantee it.

Big thanks to Brian and Rob for building the pipeline tonight.  Also to Craig, Nick, Tom, Glenn, Daryl, Neil, and Dan for helping roll RC's longest carpet roll, and building the new driver's stand.  Finally, thanks to the COR guys Richard, Chris, Glenn, and Bob for dropping by and helping as well.

I'm amazed that the long carpet roll actually worked!

Thursday night will be the final work night before the track will be ready.  We need to hang some banners, clean up some Clik Trak, and install some new velcro on some of the Clik Trak.

See you then,
Blake

The carpet is mostly taped down and ready for boards and Clik Trak.

If you are coming out tomorrow night, please bring a heat gun if you have one.  We have to replace some velcro on some of the Clik Trak.

If you have some white glue, bring it as there is one yellow board that needs a chunk glued back in place.

If you have a shop vac with a long reach attachment, bring it too.  There is some vacuuming to do.

Thanks,
Blake

I'll be there just before 4pm to open the doors.

It might be optimistic, but you might as well bring your cars too.

Big thanks to Craig, Dan, Glenn, Matt, Randy, and Neil for helping get the track vacuumed and assembled last night.  It honestly looks like you could host a Nationals, IIC, or Snowbirds on this track.  At 41'x100', we're now very similar in size to the typical US tracks which range from 40'x96' to 48'x100'.

As we resume practicing, we may dial-in the driver's stand railing position to find the best compromise between sight-lines and roominess.

Also note that the carpet moved 3' closer to the pit area, so we'll have to figure out the best way to accommodate all the tables in an organized manner.
